To do a screen capture (or screen grab), you need to have the screen you want to capture on your display.

Make sure that the on screen page is the active one by looking at the top bar with the close button on it and checking that the bar is not greyed out.

Then press the PrtSc Key which is normally up in the top right hand area (possibly with the Break Key), and could have the text in blue and written under another key title.

Once you press this button an electronic image is stored for you on the systems internal clipboard. Open a Word Processing file and then paste the image in by using one of the following methods:

1. Click the Paste button , or

2. Click the Edit menu and click Paste , or

3. Press the Ctrl (Control Key) AND the V key together (Ctrl+V).

 

You will now have the picture pasted into the file, just save it and upload to the system or send to me as an attachment.
