Your Personal Notebook allows you to create entries to store all sorts of notes, scores, progress reports etc...and it could be useful to you and is good for me if scores/access is playing up!

To access your Personal Notebook just login and look on the left hand side of your learning page, at the dark blue menu bar. You will see the underlined link titled my personal notebook

click on this underlined text (or hyperlink as it is called) and a new window will open, click on the link that says create new entry.

A create personal notebook entry box will appear.

In this window you can type your message, scores or progress and then give it a heading.  You can also attach files to these entries such as screenshots etc… Then make sure you put a tick in the box for me to see the entry, if you want me to see it, and then Save the note.

Please start using the notebook even if only to record scores on the doors just incase the system fails to do it for you.

Adding an Attachment (file) to your notebook entry

If you want to save/add an attachment, say a screenshot of a page then you can.

Click on add an attachment

You will be prompted to Save the entry if you have not already done this.

Now click on Browse and find the file you want to attach to the entry.

Once you have found the file, click it to select it sand then click OK. It's address on your system will then be shown in the add attachment box.

Click OK to finish attaching the file to the notebook entry.

Now click on back to your entry to return to the notebook.

You can now carry on or add to your entry and then save it.

Here you can see an entry that has an attachment and allows your tutor to see it.
