1. Navigation of LD web site

            Able to access the learndirect site from your desktop.

            How to access other parts of the learndirect site.

            What the Learner Support Environment (LSE) is used for: accessing course material, aid learning, recording personal goals and progress, communicating with tutor and other learners.

            Monitoring progress towards completion of your course and achievements.

            Who to contact with technical queries about LSE (08000150450).

2. Logging onto LSE

            You know your username.

            You know your password.

Passwords

            Your password must be known only by you.

            Can you change the password if it is no longer secure. 

            How to request a reminder of a forgotten/lost password.

3. Navigating around Learner Pages           

            How to return to the 'my learning page'.

            How to return to a previous page (‘Back’ link).

            How to use the scroll bar to access long pages.

            How to access pages by hyperlinks.

4. Accessing course materials

            How to ‘start my learning’, 'see course topics' or ‘continue my learning’ your home page.

            Logging out of LSE

            Complete the learning session by clicking on the logout link, rather than closing the Internet Explorer window by          clicking on the ‘x’ at the top right of the window.

5. Why you should record learning activity per session (we have an obligation in T and C to record audit evidence)

-           How to contact the helpline if tutors not available
