IT2 Introducing Computers - MS 2000 (EP)

Hi team I have sent this in to Dave to try and clear up possible confusion with the above course. The IT2 Introducing Computers – MS2000 (Electric Paper) course contains all of the learning for 2 modules of the ECDL (Modules 1 and 2).  Learndirect have combined the two modules in one and it can be very confusing as they do not explain it very well.

The first module is Concepts of IT and the Electric Paper presents itself after clicking on start or continue my learning. 

This is followed by the second module Using Your Computer, but it does not automatically present itself. 

You need to select it once from the see course topics page upon completion of the Concepts of IT module, this is how you access it; 

From the my current learning page, click on see course topics under the orange banner for IT2 Introducing Computers (shown below). 

 On the course topics page you will see the following; 

When you have completed all seven lessons and online assessments of Concepts of IT and reached this page you should click on the link Using Your Computer – Course when the following Electric Paper window will appear; 

Once you have done this, the above EP window will be the default window whenever you select continue my learning from the my current learning page when you log on. 

Note: Unlike the first half of this module, this contains Tasks, Exercises and the usual three Consolidation Assignments that need to be submitted for marking.
